Techniquest

Today Techniquest visited our school. They had lots of exciting science to show us.
We used a metal detector to find a golden ticket and saw a magic potion that changed colour before our eyes. We found out about different forces and watched as a bubble fell onto a candle and caused a huge flame! It was very exciting!

We had a lovely time visiting the Celtic Village at Saint Fagans today. We learned lots about how the Celts lived in the past. The lady telling us all the information said we asked very sensible questions about Celtic homes, food and warriors. What an excellent start to our Cut-Throat Celts topic!

Building Gondolas

As part of our topic on Italy, we worked together to build gondolas. We had lots of fun working as part of a team. When our gondola was finished, we used our  skills to estimate then measure the length, width and height of our boat.
