Pasta Art

As part of our Italy topic we made designs using Italian pasta. We had many different types of pasta to choose from, including spaghetti, fusilli, vermicelli and penne. Our work is on display in the hall and classroom.

Children in Need

Message in a Bottle

We went to a sunny (mostly) Barrybados where we created expressive beach art with natural beach materials in groups. The coastguard spoke to the children and allowed them to sit in the vehicle, turn the lights on and try on all the coast guarding equipment. 2 mysterious bottles with messages in were found by the children near the rocks. The children are learning and researching where the bottles came from in class. The children had a wonderful day.

We worked with Ynysangharad Park to papier mache a giant egg with paper we had written and illustrated the National Anthem on. It was a lot of fun!

Tesco Tony

We had a visit from Tesco Tony to discuss healthy eating. We looked at different fruits and vegetables and we even got to try them. Yum!

We had a fun filled day down the mine in Rhondda Heritage Park today. We also made our own miners helmets!
