K'Nex
As part of our Science Week we went to the Historical Centre for a K'nex workshop. The aim was to make and electronic book of a mini-beast that we make out of K'nex. We used iPads to create a book, firstly we drew a picture of our mini beast and labelled it, made our mini-beast out of K'nex and photographed it. Next we inserted the photograph into our book and labelled our photo. We added 5 fun facts about our mini-beasts, took a selfie and made a video. We had a very busy morning but we thoroughly enjoyed it.

Spring Bulbs
During the summer 2014 the National Museum of Wales sent us plant pots, weather station equipment and bulbs (daffodil and crocus).
They needed our help.
They wanted to see how weather can affect the growing of flowers. They asked us if we would adopt and name a crocus and a special daffodil called the 'Tenby Daffodil', this daffodil is in decline so they wanted us to help them keep them growing.
We planted the bulbs in October as asked by the museum and put the outside.
We have been keeping weather records and sending the information back to the museum every week. As a thank you they have sent us a gardening voucher for £10 and we will buy some lovely flowers for our garden in our little yard. After a very cold and sometimes rather wet winter our bulbs have finally grown and some of the crocuses have flowered. We have entered this important information on the museums website. We are very pleased with our progress so far.
